Sustainability Specifications
Sustainability specifications refer to deliverables or frameworks for engagement in the lease. Unlike the rest of the world, Australian commercial leases have overly prescriptive measurements, such as temperature set points, that negatively impact the performance and operating costs of a tenancy with minimal comfort assurance.
Sustainability specifications in the lease document should enable building operators the flexibility to respond to evolving occupant requirements.
