CBD Emergency Management Toolkit

Following a series of natural disasters and emergency events across NSW, the BBP Resilience Working Group identified an opportunity to strengthen emergency planning in commercial buildings.

The CBD Emergency Management Toolkit is a suite of practical resources to improve emergency preparedness across the commercial property sector. It includes research into current levels of preparedness, a maturity framework buildings can use to assess their capabilities, and resources to help property and facility managers and other key stakeholders review, strengthen and align their emergency management practices.

These resources help build collective capability and strengthen connections between private property stakeholders and municipal emergency services. Our aim is to build long-term resilience across the commercial sector.
