BBP annual report released (2016)

The Better Buildings Partnership’s 2016 annual report demonstrates the group’s continued capacity to tackle the complex challenges faced by institutional property owners.

These latest results show how members have reduced their emissions by 47 per cent and achieved a 35 per cent reduction on total potable water use across their portfolios (both from a FY06 baseline). These impressive results have been achieved through measures such as building system upgrades and green infrastructure including tri-generation and recycled water networks.

At the end of the 2015-16 year, the partnership’s commercial office portfolio consisted of 90 reporting assets, a total of 2.48 million square metres of space in the Sydney city centre. Highlight projects include the partnership’s work addressing best practice leasing and waste reduction across the commercial office sector.
