Technical services summary

The technical services summary document is released as part of a request for proposal by the tenant representative following consultation with the tenant. It outlines the needs of the tenant for a prospective building and is responded to by leasing agents.

Done well, they can open up great possibilities for new space. Done badly, they can lock out accommodation options with the potential for great business outcomes.

Key attributes of a technical services summary should include

  • building grade
  • environmental performance
  • nominal lighting power density (as per the BEEC)
  • owner/operator engagement level and location
  • good access to public transport
  • planned upgrades
