2020 BBP Annual Report celebrating ten years of leadership

2020 marks the tenth year of the Better Buildings Partnership. A year that coincided with great upheaval with catastrophic fires, extreme weather events and the global disruption as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. A year that highlighted the need for collaboration and demonstrated that we are more resilient when we work together

An extraordinary year, 2020 has also seen us progress our sustainability goals. We have achieved 88 buildings with carbon neutral certifications, a 61% reduction in carbon emissions and 39% reduction in water use (from a 2006 baseline).

In addition to our annual report we are excited to release videos celebrating our progress in bringing forward our carbon neutral commitments, investing in renewable energy, and exploring ways to embed circular economy in our operations.

In 2021 we look forward to collaborating with our tenants, investors, suppliers and other buildings in the city to use our leadership to recover from the pandemic and tackle the climate emergency.
