Edge Environment releases Governor Macquarie Tower strip out trial report

Edge Environment have compiled data from their recent investigation of a strip out at Governor Macquarie Tower (GMT). The strip out of levels 34-­­41 of GMT were an opportunity to trial and document the means by which high diversion rates of strip out waste to landfil could be achieved at no extra cost.

The report details the results of resource recovery efforts, identifying reprocessing pathways, introducing a standardised template for reporting strip out projects and a framework to move the industry toward 80% resource recovery in office strip out. The methods and material breakdown results are also detailed in the report.
